Shadowcash

Postby CST » Sat Dec 27, 2014 7:46 pm

Hi Cryptonote Core team,

I wanted to introduce a new protocol called Shadowcash. It's a Bitcoin fork and hasn't received any legitimate peer review as it was just released on Monday.

Their system employs dual-key stealth addresses, traceable ring signatures, NIZKPs, and the destruction and minting of new SDC (Shadowcash) when creating anonymous outputs in the form of Shadow Tokens (SDT). The system combines concepts from Zerocoin/Zerocash (minting) and concepts from cryptonote (stealth addresses and ring signatures). Although, I believe their implementation differs from math libs, different curves and it uses 'traceable ring signatures'.

I would love to get a response/review from the cryptonote core team about this promising approach to anonymity.

Look forward to hearing back!
