You should write to Tavos coin devs. Maybe they really did stop all the seeds, maybe it's something else. Only they would know.

If anyone has another email to contact the people at Tavos that would be good.

I googled their topic on bitcointalk and it seems that this coin has been abandoned since summer. I don't have any contact information though but i doubt anyone on this forum has :(

I have to now ask the obvious question. Why would people make a site, compile and make a foundation and abandon it?

Actually there could be a plenty of explanations. Maybe the coin hadn't been performing as dev expected. maybe he was counting on some kind of overnight success and lines of exchanges willing to take Tavos. Maybe dev understood it takes too much of his time. Maybe it was some kind of experiment "What if i created my own coin".
Too bad, anyways.

Running and maintaining a coin is hard work.
It takes teams for development, support, marketing.
No successful coin is a one person operation.

If you want to launch a coin you really need a team and a use for your coin.
If you can't get a team to invest time and resources into your project it's useless to do the launch.
You will be unable to support your project and experienced traders will not buy your coin.

Anyone can build a coin's code which means (unless you do something new) that the code has almost no value.
You create value with a responsive support and PR team.

The most important part of launching a coin is the market. Its useless to create yet another crypto coin.
General use coins are 13 in a dozen now.
Find a niche market where you stand out and are able to focus your team effort.
Research you market very carefully and don't hype your coin. A disgruntled user is a lost user and bad news travels fast.

We have the technology to process currency at lightning speeds, secure and at almost no cost.
Unfortunately most people think that's it.
The success of a coin is not the coin itself but the services build on top of the coins blockchain.
A coin is not about currency, its about services.
Maybe, instead of launching a new coin, it would be better to build services based on existing coins.
Bitcoin would be worthless if it was not for the services that where build on top of it.

I agree with what you have said which is why I have went the other way around to all this. For me, adding a coin with a purpose to an existing set of services would only enhance the site, not hinder it. Now we are moving the tested applications to a hosting provider instead hosting it at a private residence.

Which leads to why I made the statement like I did. I wouldn't have minded using the Tavos coin no one has responded to my emails. Once our site is launched it would be ideal to see people use a CPU coin to use for events and maybe even get traded.
